Abstract

The investigation seeks to interpret the nature and projection of the leadership from the educational environment in students of secondary in Peru. The case study responds to the Interpretive Paradigm, of Qualitative approach; to develop this research, students’ interviews, parents’ focus groups, and teacher’s interviews were applied in depth. After analyzing this data, new categories were obtained. The most important piece of information gotten from this study was the form of representation of female leadership in the educational context. The conclusion evidences that the feminine leadership is not relevant to the school, prevailing the masculine figure in the participation and in the taking of decisions. To conclude, this study proposes the development of skills for the construction of feminine leadership, through participation and formative projects.
