Rather than a set of procedures involving preestablished sequences and techniques, this paper defines 'educational systematization' as an approach to the 'interpretation of praxis', which is recommended to concentrate on the identification of critical episodes and on a permanent dialogue with theory, starting with praxis itself with the purpose of recovering knowledge. Among other elements, this involves the selection of facts to be considered in the analytical process leaving aside the more significant ones and stressing the 'meanings' concentrated in praxis.
