Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in educational contexts presents an overdiagnosis in students, which has been increasing, which has led us to investigate the evaluation processes and possible treatments of this disorder. This research is based on a qualitative-descriptive methodology, through a literature review. It is concluded that the diagnosis for ADHD is more clinical than pedagogical, where treatments through medication are generally used to regulate the behavior of students in the classroom. It recognizes the existence of alternative treatments, based on the use of new technologies and approaches to the welfare of students, which are being implemented incipiently in many countries of the world and from which our country should learn.
