Abstract
This study analyzes the research presented by master's and doctoral students in education at the First Postgraduate Student Education Conference in Chile held in January 2025. It is characterized as an exploratory study with the primary aim of identifying the main trends in topics, methodologies and geographical regions of origins. The findings reveal that the majority of the investigations focus on teaching and learning processes as well as topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion, reflecting current interests within the educational field. Regarding methodological approaches, qualitative methods predominate; however, there are also various studies that do not explicitly specify their methodology, along with several works that undertake systematic literature reviews. Additionally, there is a notable institutional diversity among the participants with a greater concentration from universities in the Metropolitan region, especially the University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. The analysis highlights the importance of strengthening students’ academic and methodological writing skills, promoting spaces for reflection and collective training that enhance overall quality of research in the national context.Keywords:
