Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) is transforming education by personalizing learning and facilitating teaching activities. However, the following question arises: Should these topics, included in the course “Innovation and New Technologies,” be taught jointly to students from the Bachelor’s programs in Business Innovation and International Business? The general objective was to identify university students’ perception of the Tree of Thoughts application as a tool for problem-solving. With the participation of 102 students, a practical exercise was designed in which students assumed three professional roles: economists, foreign trade specialists, and business intelligence professionals. The main hypothesis proposed that perception depends on the academic program being studied. The results rejected this hypothesis, suggesting that the course should continue to be jointly offered to both academic programs.
